IC2 Students Excel at AI International Hackathon 2025
IC2 students excelled at the AI International Hackathon 2025, winning both the Winner and 1st Runner-Up awards. Their innovative AI projects reflected IC2’s commitment to advancing cognitive computing and real-world applications of artificial intelligence.

We are proud to share that students affiliated with the Innovative Cognitive Computing (IC2) research group at the School of Information Technology (SIT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) achieved outstanding success at the AI International Hackathon 2025, held from 24–27 June 2025 at the Learning Exchange (LX) Building, KMUTT.
Organized by SIT as part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations, the hackathon brought together talented students from leading universities to develop AI-driven solutions under the theme “Social Transformation for Quality of Life.” Over four days, participants collaborated intensively to design, prototype, and present their innovations addressing real-world challenges through technology.

Both teams demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical skill, and problem-solving ability, reflecting the interdisciplinary and applied learning environment fostered by IC2. Their projects showcased practical uses of artificial intelligence to enhance social well-being, aligning closely with IC2’s mission to integrate AI in addressing real-world challenges.
