Philosophy
The vision of IC2 is to enable us to “see” the (new) world in a different light. Thus enabling KMUTT to strive for technological excellence at the global level, and leading our graduates to have global skills at the forefront of technology.
Leading by example is an excellent way for personnel development. By having established toptier researchers guiding research development within KMUTT, we can disseminate the expertise to younger researchers more effectively.
IC2 (“I see too”) aims to bring together interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary researchers in the established/emerging fields of cognitive computing, artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, neuroinformatics, and psychology, with diverse focuses on basic theories as well as applications in industries, healthcare, and humanities in general.
The objectives are to have shared research, establish sustainable collaboration, with an aim for joint funding opportunities globally, and to train and exchange students and researcher.
The focus of IC2 is on the development of smart applications by leveraging natural language processing, machine learning and deep learning, information retrieval, data mining, HCI as well as psychology and human behavior.
